The City of Dawsonville has rescheduled the inaugural citizen discussion workshop planned for tonight. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Joe Lane Cox Room on the second floor of the Dawsonville Municipal Complex.

The City of Dawsonville is closing at 1:30 p.m. and is expected to reopen for normal business hours on Thursday morning.

Dawson County government offices are closing at noon today in anticipation of hazardous weather moving into the area.

The Dawson County Chamber of Commerce is closing today at 1 p.m.

Dawson County Parks and Recreation is closing today at noon. This includes all facilities at Rock Creek and Veterans Memorial parks. The parks plan to reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday.

The University of North Georgia (Dahlonega and Blue Ridge campuses) are closed today. The Cumming and Gainesville campuses are closing at 2 p.m.

All Lanier Technical College campuses are closing at 1 p.m.

Dawsonville Chick-fil-A is closed today.
