Trunk or Treat set at Rock Creek
Placeholder Image

Dawson County Parks and Recreation invites the community to come out to Rock Creek on Halloween from 4-7 p.m. for trunk-or-treat.

The Oct. 31 event provides the children in the community with a safe place to trick-or-treat in a well-lit area that provides plenty of parking, restrooms and easy access.

The park will designate a specific area for the trunk-or-treat event and will section the area off so that vehicle traffic will not be permitted.

Come out for a fun afternoon of candy, face painting, bounce house, hay rides, train rides, dunk tank, and more. Admission is free and so are most of the activities. Concessions will be available for purchase and will benefit the American Cancer Society.

For more information, or if you are interested in being a part of the event, contact Buffie Hamil at bhamil@dawsoncounty.org.
