In an effort to encourage creativity among local elementary school students, the Dawson County Tax Commissioner’s Office recently held its first annual Design-a-Tag event throughout Dawson County Schools. Tax Commissioner Nicole Stewart partnered with the school system so that local students could try their hand at designing license plates that they would like to see in the future. “We wanted to bring color to the office and see what designs the students would like to see,” Stewart said. “We got a number of responses with tons of different designs and colors.”
