The Georgia Racing Hall of Fame will host a free “Cruise-In” car show during the next Food Truck Friday on Friday, Sept. 11.

According to Cody Dinsmore with the Racing Hall of Fame, the event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the hall of fame parking lot in downtown Dawsonville.

“I don’t think there’s been a car show in the area all year,” Dinsmore said. “There’s a lot of nice cars that nobody has gotten to see for a while and we just wanted to open our space to provide that.”

Food trucks will be located at the new Dawsonville Farmer’s Market Pavillion and there are events happening at Dawsonville’s Main Street Park. During the last Food Truck Friday, Dawson County hosted a movie night at Veterans Memorial Park.

“Stay for 30 minutes or stay all three hours,” Dinsmore said. “Grab a bite to eat. We just want everyone to have a good time.”
