The faceoff between the Denver Broncos' record-breaking offense and the Seattle Seahawks' top defense in Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2 is anticipated to be one of the most explosive matchups in recent years.

The Rotary Club of Dawson County is giving fans the opportunity to cash in on the game in the annual Super Bowl Squares contest that gives participants the chance to win between $500 and $2,000 in raffles that are held at the end of each quarter and then at the end of the game.

The first-, second- and third-quarter payouts are $500 each. The final score at the end of the fourth quarter is $2,000.

Super Bowl squares can be purchased for $100 each, with proceeds benefitting Rotary's various service initiatives.

"All of the money raised stays here in Dawson County," said Rotarian Scott Yochum.

The AFC Champion Seattle Seahawks are up against Peyton Manning's Broncos, who won 26-16 over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon to secure the NFC title.

A win would be Manning's second Super Bowl ring. His first was in 2006 when he led the Indianapolis Colts to victory over the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI.

The AFC Champion Seahawks, who beat the San Francisco 49ers 23-17 on Sunday night, will be looking for their first Super Bowl title.

Kickoff is at 6:25 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform during halftime.
