A well that has been at the center of discord between one neighborhood and the City of Dawsonville is expected to reopen in the near future, according to a public service announcement released by the city last week. "The City of Dawsonville is proud to announce the completion of repairs to well #110 and afterindependent testing, has been found to be appropriate for all public drinking water uses," reads a legal ad that ran in the Dawson County News May 31. Rick Jefferies, president of J & T Environmental Services, Inc., had been contacted to perform independent tests on the quality of water supplied by well 110.
