Just in time for Halloween, the Dawson County Public Library is hosting Paranormal 101, where experts will answer questions about ghosts, hauntings, paranormal investigations and all things that go bump in the night.
The public is invited to join the members of Paranormal Georgia Investigations starting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Dawson County Public Library meeting room, where they’ll discuss the basics of paranormal research.
Following the program, members of Paranormal Georgia Investigations will answer any questions attendees have on the subject of ghost hunting.
Paranormal Georgia Investigations is a well-respected and established paranormal research team that serves Atlanta and north Georgia. They have been featured on Atlanta television news stations and they were featured presenters at this year’s Dragon Con.
Paranormal Georgia Investigations is also a supporter of The Bridge of Compassion, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the Atlanta and north Georgia homeless population. Throughout the months of October and November they will be collecting winter items to fill backpacks that will be distributed to homeless individuals in need this winter.
Attendees who would like to donate one or more the following items will be entered into a drawing to accompany PGI on an investigation of one of the most haunted locations in the southeast - the Old South Pittsburg Hospital in South Pittsburgh, Tenn.
The list of needed items is as follows: mittens/gloves, blankets, socks, new underwear, hotel-sized toiletries, backpacks, scarves, hats and coats.
A donated item is not necessary to attend this program.
Join us for an exciting, informative, free evening, and venture into the world of the paranormal. Reservations are not necessary for this program, but please arrive early to ensure seating availability.
