The next community connections workshop will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Margie Weaver Senior Center in Dawsonville.

A partnership between Dawson County, the city of Dawsonville and the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, the workshops are designed to allow citizens to hear officials speak on issues that affect them and ask questions of local leaders.

The guest speaker will be Dawson County Chamber of Commerce President Christie Haynes.

Presenting community overviews will be County Manager David Headley, Sheriff Jeff Johnson and a representative from the city of Dawsonville.
