After Monday night’s tragic death of Amy Alexandria Gibson, the community is coming together in a big way to help her two children this Saturday.

Jordan Reece, president of the north Georgia motorcycle ministry God, Guns and Cycles, is helping to organize a benefit ride to raise money for the children, ages 8 and 5.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Aug. 3 at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame.

It is open for both motorcycle and car enthusiasts. The entry fee per rider is $20 and $10 per passenger. All proceeds will go directly to the Gibson children.

The ride begins at 11 a.m. at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville and will end at Johnny B’s in Dahlonega.

Gibson was murdered Monday night outside Fire Station 7 in Dawsonville.

A GoFundMe has also been created to help with funeral arrangements, legal services and benefitting the children. More than $4,000 has been raised in one day.
