Authorities said the cellphone of a missing 18-year-old man was found in the trash where the Rainbow Family of Living Light had gathered in the mountains of Lumpkin County.

William Johnson was reported missing to the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office.

Johnson is a white man with brown eyes and brown hair. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs roughly 180 pounds.

“His cellphone was found in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest in the trash where the recent Rainbow (Family) of Living Light gathering took place,” according to the sheriff’s office.

The gathering took place between July 1-4, though attendants and spectators arrived and departed in the weeks surrounding the event.

Authorities did not say where Johnson lives nor if he attended the gathering.
