A Dawson County man who is recovering after a motorcycle collision Friday has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Larry Mann, 39, of Montvale Road was flown to Atlanta Medical Center with serious injuries from the crash that occurred about noon Sept. 30.

According to a spokeswoman with the Georgia State Patrol, Mann was riding his motorcycle west on Kilough Church Road when he crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming minivan.

The spokeswoman said Mann has also been charged with improper lane change.

The driver of the Honda Odyssey, Abby Liberatore, 38, of Dawsonville was not injured or cited in the crash.
