Local officials are currently investigating a mobile home fire that occurred around 10:48 Friday morning at 1469 Elliott Family Parkway.
According to a press release from Dawson County Emergency Services, fire units were dispatched to reports of a structure fire and responded, encountering a single-wide mobile home with heavy flames and smoke.
Personnel searched the home for any victims or animals and the residence was given an all clear.
The fire was under control and extinguished at 11:05 a.m.
“There were no reported injuries to civilians or fire personnel. Firefighter’s remained on scene for several hours hitting hot spots,” the release states.
The Dawson County Fire Marshall’s office is currently investigating the fire.
The cause is undetermined at this time.
