Hwy. 183 will be closed this weekend for work on the roundabout project at the intersection of Hwy. 183 and Hwy. 53, according to a Georgia Department of Transportation press release.
The closure will be from 8 p.m. Friday, March 23 through 6 a.m. Monday, March 26.
Traffic will be detoured through Hwy. 136. Signs and message boards will be used to direct traffic around the closure.
The project was awarded to CMES, Inc. in November 2016 and has a scheduled completion date of spring 2018.
