Hobby Lobby to open in February

Hobby Lobby's newest store is projected to open at the end of February at the Dawson Marketplace shopping center in Dawson County. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. is a privately held national retail chain of craft and home décor stores with 36 locations in Georgia currently. Construction is underway on the new 55,000 square-foot building located at Ga. 400 and Dawson Forest Road.

The First Baptist Church of Dawsonville hosted its Vacation Bible School kick-off event on Sunday, June 5, complete with inflatables, a petting zoo, bluegrass music and a stunt show featuring a motorcycle and BMX bikes.
