Few restaurants have generated the local buzz recently as the Olive Garden opening up in the new Kroger shopping center. According to an announcement sent out today, we finally have an official launch date: Veteran's Day - Nov. 11.

The newest location will be led by Kayla LaPerriere, an 11-year veteran of the Darden-owned restaurant. 

According to the release, "LaPerriere started her career with Olive Garden as a part-time server at the Olive Garden location in Rome, GA. She advanced by holding positions in both front-of-house and back-of-house, before she was ultimately promoted to General Manager in 2014."
