The Georgia Department of Transportation will hold a public information open house today for a proposed bridge replacement project on Hwy. 136 over the Chestatee River.

The open house will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fire Station 2 next to the Tractor Supply. The address is 145 Liberty Drive in Dawsonville. 

The purpose of the open house is to provide the public with an opportuniy to review the proposed project, ask questions and provide comment.
