Cool off and browse the latest collection of art at the Bowen Center for the Arts in Dawsonville this weekend during a free ice cream social on Saturday. The event will run July 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. and everyone of all ages is invited, according to Ginny Greenwood, executive director of the Bowen. "We love Dawsonville and want to give people a chance to come see the Bowen before the school year kicks off," Greenwood said.
