The city of Dawsonville’s Food Truck Friday series continues this Friday in downtown from 5 to 8 p.m.

Food trucks for the Aug. 2 event include: Cousins Maine Lobster, Gonzo Gourmet, The Funnel Cake Guys, Loloc’s BBQ, Mo Pho Pho Sho, Old Dad’s Wings, Sweet Jeanius Bakery and the Amicalola Regional Farmers Market.

As with past food truck nights, the event will be held on Bill Elliott Street and Tucker Avenue, behind the Purple Corn Boutique and across Shoal Creek Road from the sheriff's office. Both streets will be shut down around the Dawson County News for the festival, but should not impede traffic around the square.

Along with several food truck vendors, visitors can expect a bouncy house and slide, face painting, balloon animals, corn hole, vendors from the Amicalola Regional Farmers Market and more.

There will be designated parking and the city hopes local residents will take advantage of the new sidewalks leading into town and walk to the event.
