Roll the dice for the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame Friday and Saturday night during the 47th annual Mountain Moonshine Festival.

For the first time, the festival will feature a grand casino component from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame. The cost is $35 to play, with proceeds benefitting the museum.

"This is the first year we're having the grand casino night at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame during the festival," said Calvin Byrd, president of the K.A.R.E. for Kids, which organizes the festival.

"The racecars and Dawsonville's racing history are a very important part of the festival, and we're excited the hall of fame has partnered with us to give our visitors another fun event to do while they're in town."
