This year's Family Connection Celebrity Waiter Breakfast will see local celebrities out in force to serve the community a delicious meal to raise funds for the organization. The ninth annual event will be held on Friday morning at LongHorn Steakhouse. "I just love this fundraiser," said Family Connection Coordinator Nancy Stites.

The First Baptist Church of Dawsonville hosted its Vacation Bible School kick-off event on Sunday, June 5, complete with inflatables, a petting zoo, bluegrass music and a stunt show featuring a motorcycle and BMX bikes.
