Etowah Water & Sewer Authority is proud to recognize the following employees for their dedication to its customers:

John Cronan – Administration Office Employee of the Year

Cronan currently serves as the construction manager. He has been with the authority for 18 years, providing amazing support to other departments and employees in the day to day tasks. He is always willing to help and with all the new growth taking place in Dawson County, you can find him working at the office above normal hours to keep the construction department caught up and moving forward.

Dolly Pendley – Manager of the Year

Pendley joined the Authority 21 years ago. She serves as the treatment systems manager overseeing both water and wastewater treatment facilities. Under her direction, the authority has won numerous awards. The authority’s Hightower Water Treatment Facility and Dawson Forest Water Reclamation Facility both won Plant of the Year in Georgia for 2017.

“Pendley expects the best of all her employees and it shows in her dedication and teamwork spirit,” said Brooke Anderson, EWSA general manager.

Victor Beck – Operator of the Year

Beck has been employed at the Authority for six years serving as a Class I operator for the Hightower Water Treatment Facility. Victor works nightshift, treating safe drinking water.

According to Anderson, Beck is a team player, has a contagious smile and helps serve EWSA customers with excellence.

“I am extremely proud of these employees for their work ethic and all that they do for the Authority and our customers,” Anderson said.
