Dawson County Emergency Services responded to a structure fire early Tuesday morning.
According to a report from Deputy EMA Director Jason Dooley, fire personnel responded to a structure fire just after 2:30 a.m. Sept. 24 at 1336 Hanging Dog Road where arriving units found an approximately 2,500 square feet workshop with flames through the roof.
According to the release, crews had the fire under control in about an hour. The shop and its contents were a total loss, including multiple recreation vehicles inside and a work truck parked next to the structure.
The Forsyth County fire department assisted in battling the blaze by providing an engine crew and a water tender.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
