A Dawson County man was arrested and charged with first degree burglary following a reported incident on Ridge Road late last month.
Investigators from the Dawson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call from the residence on July 28.
The victim reported the burglary at approximately 7:30 a.m.
A video security system led authorities to a Clifton Drive address where three suspects were arrested on various charges, according to Dawson County Sheriff-Elect Jeff Johnson.
Robert Charles Brumbelow, 26, was arrested and charged with first degree burglary, misdemeanor obstruction of an officer and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Brumbelow fled after being approached by investigators.
"He is the only one currently charged [with burglary], however the case is still active," Johnson said.
Steven Wayne Baker, 22, and Hollie Lorraine Miller, 35, were both arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Miller was charged with two counts.
Johnson said the controlled substances are believed to be prescription pills and methamphetamine.
The Ridge Road home appears to have been targeted and the suspects were familiar with the address through an acquaintance, according to Johnson.
As of Tuesday afternoon, all three remain in custody at the Dawson County Law Enforcement Center, according to jail records.
