The Dawson County Sheriff's Office has issued a BOLO or "be on the lookout" for 15-year-old Mallory Roxanne Padgett, who was last seen at her residence in Dawsonville last week.

According to Padgett's family, the teen did not take any personal belongings Jan. 13 other than her guitar, and could be in the Forsyth County area. Her date of birth is Feb. 23, 2001.

A notice of Padgett being missing was posted on the Dawson County Sheriff's Office Facebook page on Jan. 17, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is involved.

According to Sheriff Jeff Johnson, there is no new information at this time.

"The investigators are diligently developing and pursuing leads, but no further details are available at this point," Johnson said.

Anyone with information regarding Padgett should contact Sgt. Christopher Murphy at the Sheriff's Office at (706) 344-3636.
