Dawson EMS responds to multi-vehicle accident at Toto Creek Bridge

Dawson County Fire and Emergency Services responded to a multi-vehicle accident with numerous injuries Saturday afternoon.

According to a press release from Fire Chief Danny Thompson, three engines and three med units responded, along with a med unit from Hall and Lumpkin counties.

The incident was located at the Dawson/Hall county line on Price Road.

According to the release, a critical patient was flown by Air Life to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA).  Multiple patients were transported to Northeast Georgia and CHOA by various EMS ground units. A total of seven patients were transported from the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol. Dawson and Hall County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control at this incident. No other patient information is being released at this time.
