Dawson 400 Regal Cinemas to close again due to COVID-19
Dawson Regal 400

If you were planning on going to see a movie at Dawson 400 Regal Cinemas, you’d better make sure to do so before Thursday, because Regal Dawson, along with all other Regal theaters, will be closing on Thursday.

The closure will begin at the end of business on Thursday, Oct. 8, according to the Regal website.

All Regal theaters closed in mid-March, and select theaters, including the one in Dawson County, were reopened on Aug. 21 with a slew of safety precautions to keep both staff and guests healthy. Now, after just over a month of being open, all locations are once again closing.

“Regal will temporarily suspend operations at all theaters at close of business on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020 until further notice,” the website says. “This is in response to an increasingly challenging theatrical landscape and sustained key market closures.”

The website will be updated with any future decisions the theater chain makes at https://www.regmovies.com/

“Please check back again soon,” the website said. “We look forward to serving you again, as soon as possible.”
