Dawson County Emergency Services will be hosting its annual Patriot Day service next week to honor those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

The service will be held at 9 a.m. at Fire Station 1, which is located at 393 Memory Lane, Dawsonville.

Everyone is invited to attend and show appreciation and express gratitude to all veterans, active duty military and public service personnel for their dedication, as well as to honor the memory of those who died during the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center sixteen years ago.
