The Dawson County Chamber of Commerce recently added to its staff of three with new hire Davida Simpson as marketing and events director. Simpson was most recently employed with the Dawson County Government as purchasing director. According to Christie Haynes, chamber president, Simpson will serve as the point person for coordinating major chamber events including the annual gala, golf tournament, Business After Hours and business luncheons.
