The competition is heating up as votes continue to be cast for the 2018 Best of Dawson Readers' Choice Awards.

Thousands of votes have been cast so far, and now is your chance to make your voice heard and have the business, organization or professional of your choice take home an award for being the Best that Dawson has to offer.

Bragging rights, glory and honor await all those who come in first as the best in their category. 

Though patrons are slamming the polls with votes for the much-anticipated Dawson County News' Best of Dawson, chances to vote are growing slim as voting is slated to close in just over a week. 

All votes must be in before the cutoff date of Feb. 2 to be counted for this year's readers choice awards.

Winners will be announced in a special edition magazine that will insert into the Dawson County News March 28.
