Breakfast with Santa is Saturday

Organizers haven’t said whether Santa Claus will be riding in his sleigh or taking another form of transportation when he arrives at Rock Creek Park this weekend.

Park staff said families should plan to arrive early for the third annual Breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Admission to the event is free, with packages that include breakfast and photos with Santa starting at $5.

Santa is expected to arrive about 7:45 a.m. and will be available for photos until 11 a.m.

The first sheet of photos will be ready to take home on Saturday.

Additionally purchased photos will be mailed to parents within 10 days, just in time to hand out to family and friends for Christmas.

Horse drawn carriage rides through the park will also be available for purchase.

New this year is the addition of a Christmas tree farm, with trees ranging from 5-10 feet tall, starting at $35.

The event will be held inside the gym.
