The Bowen Center for the Arts has announced its reopening for a 3D and 2D art show beginning on May 26.
The show will feature 3D works of art from the Georgia Clay Council and Spruill Art Center glass artists. There will also be 2D art and photography on the walls and new items in the gallery gift shop, according to a press release from the Bowen.
“Talented artists from all over Georgia have handcrafted these works of art from glass, clay, photography and paint,” the release said. “Hundreds of pieces are for sale and will be on view for everyone to enjoy. Their hard work and discipline is evident in every unique work of art.”
The items will be on display from May 26 to June 26, and the show will be free to all. It will be open in person or online for those still remaining at home.
“For those stuck at home, this show will also feature a video tour of this exhibit on the web for a visual experience like no other,” the release said. “You can even purchase items from the video over the phone. Or simply view this exhibit in person at the Bowen during business hours of Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Saturday noon to 4 p.m. in accordance with posted safety guidelines.”
