Nominations have begun once again for the "Best" of Dawson County. It’s that time of year again where you can make your voice heard and nominate your favorite business, organization or professional for their respective Best Of categories.

The categories include: auto and transportation, business, community, education, food and beverage, medical and professionals. There are many subcategories under the main seven, making a total 189 nominations that can be made.

Be sure to nominate your favorite establishments, people and food to ensure they make it on the official ballots.

Nominations will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Dec. 31. Voting will begin at 12:01 a.m. Jan. 12.
