Traffic at the bridge on Hwy. 9 over the Etowah River will be affected Monday as construction partners with the Georgia Department of Transportation will be placing the second set of beams on the bridge replacement project, according to a Friday press release.
According to the release, a total of four 140-foot long beams will be brought in from Dawson Forest Road and crews will work to set them in place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Similarly to when beams were brought in for a portion of the bridge in March, law enforcement will assist with traffic control.
