Dust off those cowboy boots because the 12th annual Wee Books Barn Dance is right around the corner.

Dawson County Wee Books is hosting its annual Barn Dance fundraiser this Saturday night at Kinsey Family Farms.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes a BBQ dinner and a barn dance with Western style dancing with instruction.

The annual barn dance raises money for Dawson County Wee Books, a local nonprofit organization that puts free, age-appropriate books in the hands of Dawson County children ages 0-5 every month.

With more than 900 kids enrolled in the program, Wee Books needs to raise about $25,000 to keep the program thriving every year.

Tickets are $36 per adult, $10 for children ages 6-12 and free for children five years and under.

Included with the ticket is admission, Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ dinner, two drinks, Western style dancing with a dance instructor and special games for kids.

For tickets and donations or information call (404) 247-6260 or email info@dawsonweebooks.org.

Kinsey Family Farms is at 7170 Jot Em Down Road in Gainesville.
