A 21-year-old Baldwin man was killed Wednesday evening after he lost control of his motorcycle on Hwy. 9 South and collided with a pick-up truck.

Dawson County Coroner Ted Bearden confirmed Elijah Simmons died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Emergency personnel said he was pronounced deceased at the scene, near the Dawson-Forsyth County line at Jewell Slaton Road.
