Authorities: Missing Dawson County teen may be heading to Texas

Devin Taylor, 14, of Dawson County, left his residence on April 20, traveling on foot. Authorities believe he may be trying to reach Texas.

Dawson County authorities have issued a BOLO for a local teen that went missing from his home last week, possibly in an attempt to reach family in Texas. 

Devin Taylor, 14, left his residence on Ridge Water Lane in Dawsonville at approximately 12:30 p.m. on April 20, 2020, According to a notice shared by the Dawson County Sheriff's Office on Facebook. 

Taylor is believed to be traveling on foot and may be trying to reach his mother living in Texas. The teen is described as approximately 6 feet tall, 185  pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red short sleeve t-shirt with Nike in blue print on the front, the post stated.
