Audition dates for North Georgia’s Got Talent still available
NOA Talent Show preview

Auditions for the third annual North Georgia’s Got Talent competition are still being held this summer.

Judges for the annual talent show will be accepting auditions at Rocco’s in Jasper on July 6 and at United Community Bank on Morrison Moore Parkway in Dahlonega on July 14.

All talents and ages are welcome and more than $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the show’s winners.

The talent show is an annual fundraiser for No One Alone, or NOA, a women’s domestic violence shelter serving Dawson and Lumpkin counties.

Auditions will be held every Monday night from 8 to 10 p.m. at Shenanigan’s Open Mic with Tommy Pirone. Open mic nights can be viewed on Facebook. Contestants can sign up at the restaurant.

All proceeds from the $40 entrance fee go to help victims of domestic violence and abuse.

If contestants have not been pre-registered, there is no guarantee of a time slot at the announced auditions, but walk-ins are welcome.  Please bring backup music, if needed, on a USB drive.

Video auditions will be accepted after the registration form is completed at www.noonealone.org.

For more information, call Jean Baker at (706) 372-4260 or email jbaker@noonealone.org.

All proceeds from the event will go to help the shelter, which along with shelter facilities also provides crisis intervention and ongoing support programs, counseling and legal advocacy to families in crisis as well as community awareness programs to the general public and in the schools. All services NOA provides are free and confidential.
