The area’s newest tour company has just completed a highly successful trip to Savannah and now is planning a Charleston adventure for the spring.

In October, more than 40 people enjoyed a three-day Savannah trip that included visits to historic sites and tourist destinations, a river boat trip and some of the city’s world-renown cuisine.

Participants on the trip came home excited about their visit to the state’s oldest city and enthusiastic about their journey.

World’s Best Adventures Tours (formerly Metro Market Tours) now is planning a similar trip to historic Charleston for March 23-25. The bus tour packages are all inclusive with food, lodging, transportation and gratuities all included in the price of the trip.

“We all had a great time visiting Savannah, and can’t wait to do it again in historic Charleston. These trips are a lot of fun and perfect for those who like to travel without having to worry about any of the logistics and details,” said Lori Maxim, director of the tour company.

All tours depart from Gainesville. Participants must be 21 years old or older.

World’s Best Adventures Tours is owned by Metro Market Media, which also owns The Times in Gainesville, Forsyth County News, South Forsyth News, and Dawson County News. Proceeds from the tours go to fund journalism in those communities.
