Annual egg hunt set for Saturday

The 32nd annual community egg hunt is scheduled for this Saturday at Veterans Memorial Park. All proceeds will go to KARE for Kids.

The football field will be filled with over 20,000 brightly colored Easter eggs for children of all ages to collect.

Activities begin at 11:30 a.m. and will include train rides, face painting, photos with the Easter Bunny, games and concessions.

The egg hunt will begin promptly at 2:30 p.m. and will be divided into five age groups: 1-2/handicap (one parent may assist), 3-4, 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12.

No pets are allowed, but service animals are permitted.

Veterans Memorial Park is located at 186 Recreation Road.

The Church of the Apostles is also hosting Easter events for the whole family from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. March 31.

There will be an egg hunt, jumpy house, puppet show and more.
