Dawson County 4-H Club, All Animals Veterinary Hospital and Dawsonville Veterinary Hospital will be hosting an annual rabies clinic this Saturday at three locations throughout Dawson County.

Route 1: Drs. Will & Emily Baldwin - Dawsonville Veterinary Hospital
8:30-9:30 a.m. - Burt's Pumpkin Farm
10 a.m.-1 p.m. - Dawson County Courthouse Parking Lot (Shoal Creek Rd.)

Route 2: Dr. Ed Holton - All Animals Veterinary Hospital
8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. - Kilough Elementary School

Georgia law requires all home cats and dogs to be vaccinated each year.

The 4-H Rabies Clinic on April 22 will offer rabies shots for dogs or cats at $10 each. Other yearly vaccinations will also be available at low prices.

The clinic will be drive-by style, in which pet owners will pull into the parking lot, leave pets in the car, fill out paperwork and return to their vehicle, driving to the vaccination area so that pets can receive their shots in the car.

Proceeds from the Rabies Clinic will help fund camp scholarships and activities for the Dawson County 4-H Club.
