Throughout his life, Dawsonville legend Gordon Pirkle has spent time doing a lot of things. Running a gas station meant for bootlegging, running the famous Dawsonville Pool Room, raising a family, volunteering his time with the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and dozens of other causes, Pirkle did all that and more.
