I started going to work out and walk at Rock Creek Park around three years ago with my fiance.

The park is always well maintained and facilities are extremely clean, but what makes this park so wonderful is someone who is sitting behind the front desk.

Ms. Kris Rowan, always has a smile on her face and a "Good morning."

I have watched her assist other folks from many areas. She is always professional, but with a warmth and willingness that is a pleasure to observe in this day, when service is usually very poor.

Also I would like to say many thanks to Billy, who I understand is retiring at the end of this month, and Daniel for keeping the park such a beautiful place to be. They are always working on something whether outside or inside.

I have two [other] homes, one in Cleveland and the other on Lake Burton and go to parks at both, and neither comes close to this facility.

Dawson County has something to be very proud of in this park, as well as these three wonderful folks.

Thanks so much for making my work out a little easier. It always starts my day with a smile.
