On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of attorney Henry L. Young Jr. of Dawsonville on his recent passing.

Mr. Young's distinguished legal career spanned 47 years.

He was a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as articles editor of the Virginia Law Review. He also served his country in the Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and many years as judge advocate of the 82nd Airborne Division Association.

All Georgia lawyers are grateful for Henry Young's lifetime of service and are inspired by his many contributions toward promoting the cause of justice and upholding the integrity of the legal profession in our state.
