Family humbled by support

Saying "thank you" just doesn't seem enough. You go to bed one night as normal and you wake up to your world never being the same.

That's how it has been for Richard and our family since May 9, 2016.

We both have been so humbled by all the love and support since his stroke.

Then Sept. 17, totally blew us away!

We want to thank every motorcycle that was rode, every car and tractor that was shown. If you cooked, donated, sold tickets, judged a car, played music, bought the wonderful barbecue or sweets and ice cream, we will never be able to thank you enough.

Thanks also goes to the Pickens and Cherokee county law enforcement for their help.

A special "thank you" to the local lodges, family and friends who worked so hard and nonstop to put this all together from start to cleaning up afterwards, including Paul and Brandon and their families.

We love you all, even those we didn't know, just for taking part.

Thank you Lord for the beautiful day.
