We invite you to join us for our Fourth Annual Veterans Day Celebration.

 

 

Washington, D.C. recognized Dawson County as one of 30, 2008 Veterans Day Regional Sites in the country.

 

 

We will pay tribute to you, our men and women who bravely served our country.

 

 

We promise you a day of celebration, fellowship and honor on Nov. 11, 2008.

 

 

We will begin with a private lunch for our veterans and spouses at the Dawson County Middle School at 1:30 p.m.

 

 

We will begin lining up for the parade at 2:30 p.m. and start the parade at 3 p.m.

 

 

A formal ceremony will be held at the Dawson County Middle School at 4 p.m.

 

 

Additionally, we will pay tribute to our men and women who are actively serving in the military, our law enforcement, firefighters and emergency medical personnel.

Information needed is: Name and rank, Branch of service, war or peace time and time served, address, if you will walk in the parade, have a vehicle in the parade or will need to ride in the parade and if the veteran is a Purple Heart recipient.
