Ben and I would like to thank everyone who participated in the LifeSouth blood drive Aug. 27 in memory of Charles [Finley].

The response to it overwhelmed us!

There were 42 people who were able to donate.

It is gratifying to know that these donations have the possibility of helping many people in their time of need.

We sincerely appreciate those who made donations and those who wanted to donate but could not.

Also, special thanks goes to Gordon Pirkle and the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame, the Dawsonville Pool Room, Dawson County News and the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce for their support and promotion of the event.
