In her first significant playing time of the 2019-2020 basketball season, sophomore Avery Herring exceeded all expectations as the Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Danes 67-44 on Jan. 18 at the Ford Phillips Center. Herring posted a double-double in the contest with a team high 18 points along with 13 rebounds, while also shooting 100 percent from the free-throw line to lead Dawson County on a 41-point second half scoring spree.
