Three members of the Dawsonville Racers swim team competed well at the state park and recreation meet in Tifton last weekend.

Aidan Kudlas captured second place in the 25-yard breast stoke in the 8 and under division. Kudlas qualified for the state meet with a runner-up finish in the breast stroke and the 100-yard IM at the district meet earlier this month.

Racer Lauren Dare finished in 10th place in the 18 and under division in the 50-yard backstroke. Dare made it to the state meet following a first place finish in the event at the district meet.

Brooke Dare took ninth place in the 50-yard breaststroke at the state meet. She also swam in the IM but results were unavailable at press time.

Dare qualified for state with a third place finish in the event at the district meet.

"I am really proud of all the swimmers here at state," said head coach Stephanie Morgan. "Each of these [swimmers] recorded a new personal best in each event."
