The Tigers, led by coach Steven Moates, trailed 14-1 at halftime. Dawson couldn't get going on offense and was behind 26-8 after three quarters of play.

"We have shown some improvement over the first several games, but we have to continue to work hard on getting more fundamentally sound," Moates said.

Scoring for Dawson County were: Will Mulberry with four points; Elijah Stanfield with three points and Jack Glover and Preston Hayes contributed two points each.

Dawson County will play its next game at 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at home against rival Riverview Middle.
