The Dawson County Middle School seventh grade girl’s basketball team continues to improve.

Last Thursday, Head Coach Tina Brown and her team defeated Clear Creek Middle School by a 34-10 margin.

Hannah Moye had a tremendous game for the Lady Tigers. She led all scorers with 16 points.

Also scoring for Dawson were Madison Shope-6 points; Brooke Duffy-4 points; Emily Chester, Caroline Lee, Emily Ayers and Cassidy Byess each contributed 2 points in the winning effort.

“My girls played really well,” said Brown. “We were really hitting our outside shots.”

The team has two tough games this week. Dawson will play at home against Pickens today and then a very tough Jasper team on Friday.

Both games will tip-off at 4 p.m.
